Annual Benefit Amount (ABA) updates vary by age, wait, coverage option, and rider combo.
1. ABA changes based on Nassau product analysis using current rates. Actual ABA percentages vary by issue age and attained age of the covered person, rider life option and rider elected. For NIA, a rider must be elected at time of issue. For PPC, riders are optional and must be elected at time of issue. Riders involve an additional fee that is deducted annually from the contract value. See Rider Disclosures for details.
2. Requires election of the Flex-Forward Income Benefit rider which is available to issue ages 50-70 of youngest covered person. The Early Income Feature must be exercised prior to age 71, otherwise, only the Lifetime Income Feature is available. Income payments will reduce the contract value and are subject to minimums and maximums. If your client exercises their rider and starts taking Early Income Amount payments before the youngest Covered Person turns 59 ½, they may be subject to tax penalties. Please be sure to encourage your client to discuss their situation with a tax advisor prior to exercising their rider. Contact our sales desk for more details.
3. ABAs effective July 11, 2026. Assumptions: $100,000 premium, single life option, no prior withdrawals taken. These are hypothetical examples and are not a promise or projection of future returns. Annual guaranteed income benefit is determined by multiplying the Income Benefit Base by a withdrawal factor at rider exercise. All riders for Nassau Income Accelerator and Nassau Personal Income Annuity involve an annual fee of 0.95% of the Income Benefit Base, deducted from the contract value and subject to change. The fee for Nassau Personal Protection Choice’s Income, Care and Family Protection riders are 1.15% of the Income Benefit Base, deducted from the contract value and subject to change.
4. For clients aged 50-65 who elect the Flex-Forward Income Benefit and wait four or more years to activate the Early Income Feature, the new rates may result in a decrease to the lifetime income amount. Contact our sales desk for more details.
5. The Care Protection Benefit Rider is not a qualified Long Term Care benefit under the Internal Revenue Code. It does NOT qualify for preferential tax treatment and does NOT provide health insurance, Long Term Care insurance or Medicaid benefits. Not available in California or Maryland. The death benefit is not life insurance and is taxable to beneficiaries. Rider conditions, limitations and exclusions apply. See Rider Disclosures for details.
